this is cass. she's twenty-six and has been a thistle member for a fair few years now. and she's a fairly nice girl. i mean, she kills and maims like the best of them, but she's friendly with the people on her side.
so i figure someone with these stats should have some thistle friends. or at least interact with them on a job-by-job basis. interested?

I have Ryder. He is 20 years old, and he is also a Thistle Member. I wouldn't mind him and Cass being work friends.

You know I have Vue. She isn't really friendly but she would get along quite well with other Thistle members especially if it's job related. She works with Halloway, a Thistle Co-founder, so Halloway could be a person that a small group reports to? Just a thought.

Yup, I remember that in your app. Maybe if we rp their first interaction? Cass is a fairly old member and Vue's only been around a couple years right? Maybe the first time they meet is on a mission, or during a visit to Halloway or something. They're kind of polar opposites: old/young, chatterbox/cold. They could have one of those (or develop into one of those) love/hate relationships where they bicker but trust each other on the field.

Vue's been around for two years, since directly after Halloway broke her out of Juniper South Korean Headquarters in Seoul. She's highly valued by Thistle unbeknownst to her because of her wildly untapped potential (could partially be why Halloway is her direct caretaker.). In fact I have an idea that I find quite interesting that I'll PM you.

I was thinking that maybe Ryder, Cass, and Vue could be like some sort of trio, who worked together on some missions together. Ryder and Vue are both Assassins for Thistle and since Cassandra is a field guide, she would know the terrain and such, so they would all work well together.

Ryder will vouch for Cass if we do have them as partners from the past. I would think that he would notice that she isn't like she used to be, but he wouldn't know what happened, and that is why he would vouch, because he really believes that she could handle it.
Also, he wouldn't be afraid to knock Vue out if needed, so no worries there.

Oh! Just a thought. In my app, Cass had a younger brother who was a Thistle as well who was killed by Juniper (via cure injection) about six months ago, the same time Cass lost her immortality. It'd be interesting to have Ryder to have also been friends with him and help Cass along the mourning process while maybe Vue didn't know him at all and be a little insensitive about it?
Just a touch more drama.

Ryder and her younger brother would be about the same age so that would work. They could have been close friends growing up maybe? But that would give Ryder reasons to help her through the mourning, and would also give us another reason as to how Cass and Ryder could be closer, since he has only been in Thistle for two years.

Vue is a little more sympathetic when it comes to dead relatives. But Vue's grievance is a little more complicated since she has to take the full responsibility and guilt for killing both of her parents in an astral explosion. As far as being insensitive, she may be, or she may just be despondent, as Cass bringing up her dead relative could remind her of the accident in Seoul. She doesn't like giving or receiving sympathy however, and would just say 'get lost' if someone says 'sorry you killed your own parents'.

RYDER MATHIAS DURBAN Yes, true. They'd be more like family friends...sort of.
@mikey That's true, I didn't mean to make it seem like Vue wouldn't care about Cass and her brother. Just that with most people, when you hear about someone you don't know dying, you tend to be less sympathetic than if you actually knew the person. But in that same vein, someone who had lost family too would be way more sympathetic.

Ah well, I must sleep on this plot and see where it leads. ;D
Within the week lets start a preliminary mission where the trio is introduced? I imagine a high-risk mission, breaking into a Juniper compound to steal/destroy data on a new chemical composition. Sounds very Thistle.

That sounds good to me. I like the breaking into Juniper thing. That would be a good way for them to get to know one another better.
