PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Mia is of an average height (around 5’6”) and also of an average size, being neither slender nor chubby. She has pale skin and dark brown, wavy hair with a straight fringe which frames her oval face shape. Her fringe usually covers up her eyebrows, yet leaves her hazel-green eyes exposed. Her face can be described as quite sweet and child-like for her age, and she has relatively large front teeth which add to the effect.
FACE CLAIM: Ophelia LovibondAND THE HEART BREAKING TRUTH
PERSONALITY:
As a result of having a rather traumatic childhood, Mia is a rather timid individual and tends not be much of a conversation starter, instead she is dedicated to her work in the hope of gaining experience and going onto a higher end, well paying job some day. She can be rather nervous and jumpy when around strangers and is not easy therefore to befriend, however she does open up to people she trusts, and can be a pleasant, likeable person to those trusted people. She refrains from losing her temper most of the time in stressful circumstances from the fear of turning into her parents, and as a result is very submissive; some would argue that she lets people walk all over her.
When around her sister, she responds rather indifferently, being used to her sibling’s wayward personality and having given up pitying her or persuading her to turn her life around. Mia meanwhile holds a fearful resentment of her parents, which means that she does not talk of (let alone to) her family.
As for her opinions on the augmented, for the sake of keeping on the good side of her employers, she pretends to hold a fairly negative view of them, yet in reality she is as indifferent to their existence as she is to her sister’s, preferring to just not think much about them.
AUGMENTATION: None.
FAMILY: Father: Ben Blake; 45
Mother: Sarah Blake; 42

HISTORY:
To cut a long story short, Mia did not have a happy childhood. She grew up in a poor, shadier part of a town not far from Primrose, to alcoholic parents who never seemed to get long themselves, let alone with their two daughters. They were both abusive. Far from being the timid shell-like workaholic she is today, young Mia used to frequently land herself in trouble for violence towards her classmates at school, and was suspended a number of times.
When she was just 13, her 16 year old sister, Hayley, was expelled from school following an incident involving drugs. After police had informed their parents, the father, Ben Blake confronted his elder daughter Hayley viciously about her expulsion, leading to her running away from home into a downward spiral of drugs, alcohol and prostitution to pay for her new lifestyle. Mia meanwhile had to suffer the brunt of her parents’ anger at the loss of her elder sister, continually being blamed for not stopping her. She fell into depression, which a teacher at her school recommended her to a therapist for.
The therapist helped her back onto her feet, and even convinced her not to go down the same route as her sister, by focusing on her school studies in the hope of rising up out of the poverty-stricken, rough neighbourhood which she grew up in. By the time she had left education, she now had respectable grades, a new personality, and a new life out of reach and contact from her parents, determined to build that new life up. She never knew however that she would see her sister again for the first time in years, when she moved to Primrose Hills.
Her first reunion with Hayley came as she was walking home from her first day working for Juniper. The girl had drunk herself into unconsciousness. It was more out of the shock of seeing her than actually wanting to help her that made Mia take her sister back to her house, and leave her sleeping in the spare bedroom. The next morning she decided to attempt to talk to Hayley, after all, she had thought to herself that night, that maybe the two of them weren't so different after all, and maybe Hayley could be convinced to change her life as Mia had done. The talk didn’t quite go as planned. By the end of it, Mia was left alone in the house crying and nursing the bruises from her sister’s hung-over attack. Mia then instantly concluded that Hayley had turned into their parents, and paid little to no attention to her in a vain effort to ignore all traces of her childhood; the only reason she still lets Hayley occasionally sleep in the spare room after one of her drunken nights is out of fear that her sister would lash out in a rage if she doesn't.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
